Atom Software's experience is in software engineering, but more specifically software engineering as it is applied to business. We work in an agile manner directly with our clients, providing value, quality, and best-practice through experience.

Our client-focused goal is to improve our client's business operations through improved business processes and software automation. We don't just write great software, but we work with our clients to improve their businesses by suggesting business changes, applying software automation, and discussing business opportunities that the client may not be aware of.

Our Directors

Paul Hopkins

Paul Hopkins is a professional software developer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. His business analysis and software engineering skills have made him a sought after consultant to businesses looking to improve their current IT processes and technology bases.

Paul has extensive experience in business analysis; process modelling and improvement; software systems analysis and design; and database analysis, design and optimisation. He frequently works with Commonwealth and local governments assisting them with their enterprise-level software development projects.

Paul Smith

Paul Smith has two decades experience in the information technology sector as a developer, business analyst and consultant.

Paul gained his IT degree from the ANU in 1990, and has since been providing his expertise to a large number of clients, including state and federal government departments, private organisations and NGOs.

He specialises in analysing and developing enterprise web, desktop or mobile applications for a variety of industry sectors.
